Having advanced through several leadership roles and launching a new section of the club, I began transforming our procurement systems. I am now exploring roles that allow me to focus 100% on hospitality systems innovation.

Working at The Sloane Club placed me in the middle of the most intercultural city of the world, where I immediately focused on my goal of improving my English speaking skills. I had the opportunity to experience and learn how to work in a company that is highly efficient and well organised. I realised the importance of company culture, and the success that comes from a happy and high performing team.

During my University experience, I lived in-campus, which filled me with a resourceful backlog of life experiences, including the basics of sharing, respecting, and appreciating others’ spaces, cultures and habits, as well as managing my own time and finances. In my final year, I decided to take on the role of campus tutor, the reference figure for students living on campus and in direct contact with the building supervisor. Thanks to this, I improved my communication skills with both residents and supervisors, I learnt to listen carefully to others and above all, I learnt how far discipline can take you.

While supporting the management of the stock and the maintenance of the bar, I singlehandedly organised successful events where I acquired different skills such as the ability to manage many colleagues simultaneously, while recognising when it’s time to ask for help and work as a team.

First professional experience at 19 years of age, working in hospitality during the busy Italian summer time where I had to overcome the challenge of working and studying at the same time – and be successful at both.
